Romance hör nog till en av mina favoriter när det kommer till bokgenrer och det är alltid lika roligt att upptäcka vad som ska släppas under året. Vilka nyheter som kommer dyka upp och som man direkt lägger till på sin TBR-list på Goodreads. Nedan har jag listat de böcker inom romance som jag ser fram emot under 2021. Inlägget kommer bli uppdelat i två delar då det är ganska många böcker jag vill ta upp.

Mina tankar: Precis en bok i min smak. Åh, jag känner att jag vill få tag på Shipped direkt. Vi får se när jag kan få tag i den men jag ser verkligen fram emot att dyka in i den här berättelsen. Romance när det är som bäst!
The Ex Talk av Rachel Lynn Solomon (release 26 januari 2021)

Mina tankar: Det första jag föll för var omslaget. Jag tyckte det var väldigt tilltalande (ja, jag dömer alltid böcker efter utseende tyvärr…) men när jag läste om handlingen så visste jag att det här var en bok för mig. Jag bad mitt lokala bibliotek köpa in den så just nu väntar jag snällt på att de ska skicka ett meddelande till mig om att den finns för upphämtning. Sådant brukar dock alltid ta tid, men jag väntar mer än gärna. Är så taggad på The Ex Talk!

Mina tankar: Lite enemy to lovers-vibbar i den här boken och det brukar jag oftast gilla. Det är hur som helst en bok jag kommer hålla utkik efter.
The Road Trip av Beth O’Leary (release 29 april 2021)

Mina tankar: Jag bara måste läsa den här boken så fort den kommer ut. Eller ja, vi får se hur enkelt det blir, men det blir definitivt en bok jag vill läsa i vår/sommar. Hur mysig verkar den inte vara? Jag har läst en bok av Beth O’Leary innan och det var boken The Flatshare som jag minns att jag gillade väldigt mycket. Är även nyfiken på hennes andra bok The Switch som kom ut förra året. Beth O’Leary är utan tvekan en ”ny” författare inom romance man bör hålla utkik efter.

Mina tankar: Enligt Goodreads har jag läst nio böcker av Kasie West och när det kommer till henne så är det väldigt blandade betyg. Alltifrån två till fyra stjärnor i betyg. Ibland kan jag känna att jag är för gammal för hennes böcker då jag antar att de riktar sig till en yngre generation men jag brukar sällan bry mig om sånt. Verkar en bok bra så ger jag den en chans helt enkelt. Ibland är de bra och ibland inte. Men jag dras alltid till Kasies böcker oavsett vad. Det är lite av en tradition att läsa någon ny release av henne varje sommar. Sunkissed verkar bra och jag ser fram emot att läsa den under sommarkvällarna på balkongen.

Mina tankar: Den tredje och (vad jag vet) den avslutande delen i The Kiss Quotient-serien. Egentligen vet jag inte riktigt varför The Heart Principle är på min TBR-list då jag blev besviken på de två andra böckerna, men jag känner samtidigt att det bara är en bok kvar och dessutom går de snabbt att läsa. Jag vill gärna läsa samtliga böcker ändå när jag nästan är vid mållinjen. Dessutom minns jag att jag gillade karaktären Quan väldigt mycket så det ska bli kul ändå att läsa en bok som ska fokusera på honom. Trist att boken släppts så sent, 2,5 år efter uppföljaren. Det är en lång tid trots allt. Jag har för mig att The Heart Principle skulle ha kommit ut förra året, blev sedan uppskjutet till maj i år men nu så står det augusti. Vi får hoppas på att de inte skjuter på datumet mer.
